How to use the case converter
Paste your text, pick a case and copy the result. The conversion updates as you type, and your last text is kept in this browser until you press Clear.
What each case does
- Title Case capitalises each word but keeps short words such as a, of and the lower-case, unless they start or end the title or follow a colon. Acronyms like NASA and brand spellings like iPhone are left alone.
- Sentence case lower-cases everything except the first letter of each sentence, the word “I” and acronyms.
- camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE, dot.case and path/case split words at spaces, punctuation and existing capitals, so
getHTTPResponsebecomesget_http_response. Each line is converted separately. - aLtErNaTiNg and iNVERSE are for fun: they alternate or swap the case of every letter.
Need several changes at once? Add a case step to a pipeline with trimming, sorting or find and replace.
FAQ
Does it work with accented and non-Latin letters?
Yes. Upper- and lower-casing use Unicode rules, so é becomes É and ß becomes SS. Identifier cases keep accents; use the slug generator if you need plain ASCII.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
